This is what I ended up going with: I'm going to pull the 650 Watt Corsair power supply out of my old system, as well as the 320GB Seagate drive that is currently in it (to use as generic data storage).

Total cost with shipping: $1,059.00

That's pretty much the same build I have on the horizon. Nice system on the cheap.

looks a lot like my current setup, if you add an SSD for system drive and an additional 8gb ram

Looks very nice but it is a bit pricey for what get. I've read that you will see some ghosting due to the 8ms response time. Might be better off buying 3 nice monitors and a 3 monitor stand. If you really want a thin bezel you can remove them and you will end up saving a grand.
